Happy Hump Day, Everyone! We’re launching a new initiative where we’ll be featuring members of this community. The goal is for everyone to get to know each other. We’re starting with Vasilisa Barsukova today:

Vasilisa is a Graphic Designer at Accenture. She specialized in Branding design, Visual Identity, and Marketing graphics (print & digital) and currently works on designs for a new UX/UI project. Previously she worked at Cloud Sherpas in Atlanta, GA.

She loves when her friends call her Vas or Vasi. She is a recent transplant from GA living in Beverlywood. Vasi is excited to live in sunny California. In her free time she likes to go on short road trips to the desert, mountains, or the beach, check out fun new restaurants, visit museums and seek out new fashion inspiration. Her biggest passions in life are travel (as much as possible!), art/fashion (anything to do with aesthetics :)), and quality time with friends/family . She cares about these causes: Public Art Fund, and Art in Action.

Vasi joined MixR because the platform’s values are aligned with hers. “I was super excited to discover MixR and am looking forward to being an active part of this vibrant community! The thing that I love the most about this platform is connecting with people and building friendships”. Vasi is looking to connect with fellow Angelenos and keep exploring beautiful LA. Her ask for this community is to grow by learning from each other and everyone’s unique experiences/perspectives.

Hi everyone! Look What SHE Did! is hosting a benefit brunch on 3/31 at Jar Restaurant featuring Joan Blades in conversation with a social activist/journalist and social sciences researcher discussing women's leadership and how we can lift up models of success to inspire one another. It's going to be a really interesting conversation with delicious food and mimosas! I hope you can attend.

Tickets benefit Look What SHE Did!, a nonprofit with the mission of inspiring women to greatness through our web video series of women being interviewed about the female trailblazers who have inspired them.
